U.S. DOT's Veteran-Owned Small Business Summit

In observance of Veterans Day, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), in partnership with the Department of War’s Office of Industrial Base Growth and Small Business Administration’s Office of Veterans Business Development, will host a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) Summit on Thursday, November 19, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at U.S. DOT Headquarters.

This day-long, in-person event will recognize and celebrate veteran entrepreneurs and their service to our nation. The Summit’s primary focus is to increase VOSB awareness of—and access to—federal contracting opportunities; provide practical education on doing business with the U.S. DOT and the federal government; and connect firms with relevant tools, resources, and agency representatives. There is a primary focus on veteran-owned small businesses (VOSBs), but the event is open to all small business categories.

The VOSB Summit will help veteran-owned small businesses learn about federal contracting and connect with agency representatives.

  • Learn how to do business with U.S. DOT and other federal agencies.

  • Hear federal contracting best practices and learn about VOSB-focused resources.

  • Participate in one-on-one matchmaking with agency representatives.

  • Discuss upcoming contracting opportunities and build business relationships.

Registration is required.
